2011 Butterfly results
This year saw regular monitoring of butterflies in the Whillet’s meadows. We have published a paper giving the results and trends for each species recorded there. The paper also describes actions taken at the end of the season to improve the meadows. The aim is to increase the quantity and diversity of flowering plants, particularly for the benefit of butterflies and other insects.
