West End:- 1 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Cormorant, interestingly a pair were seen mating, female is now sitting on a nest with the male bringing additional sticks. They were the only pair properly nesting at the heronry and it is very early for Cormorants, 32 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 3f Wood Duck, 1f Red-crested Pochard, 7 Tufted Duck, 10 Mallard, 1m Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard, 2 Coot, 20 Black-headed Gull, 4 Common Gull, 7 flyover Herring Gull, 5 Stock Dove. At feeders: 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Marsh Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 1 Long-tailed Tit, Blue and Great Tit, 8 Rook, 2 Crow flew over, 4 Goldfinch.
