Dam End:- 4 Kestrel including 2 juveniles, 2 Little Egret, 1 Common Sandpiper, 8 Swift, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
West End:- 1 Wood Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 37 Lapwing, 8 Little Egret, 2 Teal, 1 Tufted Duck, 13 Mandarin Duck, 75 Mallard +1 white duck, 1 Kingfisher, 9 Egyptian Geese, 40 Greylag Geese +3 white farmyard hybrid, 12 Canada Geese, family of adult Greylag + Canada with 9 hybrid young.
7 Moorhen, 18 Common Tern including all 9 fledged young, 266 Black-headed Gulls, 37 Pied Wagtails, 2 Buzzard, 9 Magpie, 2 Raven, 30 House Martins.
Whillet’s:- 30 Goldfinch feeding on thistles, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Chiffchaff.
Butterflies included: Painted Lady, Common Blue and Brown Argus. 5 Grass Snakes, 1 Slow Worm.

West End:- 1 Wood Sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 9 Egyptian Geese, 2 Teal, 1f Tufted Duck, 30 House Martin. Many of the young Common Terns have now fledged – 9 seen.
The hybrid Geese species are interesting.
A Canada and Greylag pair have a family of 10 hybrid young still moving as a family group.
Amongst the many other Canada and Greylag Geese were a couple of white feral farmyard x Greylag hybrid geese.

West End:- 5 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 37 Lapwing, 8 Little Egret, 76 Mallard, 14 Mandarin Duck, 1 Great Black Backed Gull, 174 Black-headed Gull, 8 Egyptian Geese, 20 Great Crested Grebe, 17 Common Terns, 1 Kestrel.

West End:- 18 Great Crested Grebe, 11 Cormorant, 13 Little Egret, 29 Grey Heron, 11 Greylag, 16 Canada Geese, 9 Egyptian Geese, 10 Mandarin, 59 Mallard, 6 Moorhen, 27 Lapwing, 6 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 165 Black-headed Gull, 8+7juv Common Tern, 2 Stock Dove, 26 Pied Wagtail, 7 Magpie, 1 Jay.
Whillet’s:- Green Woodpecker and Whitethroat heard,  1 Common Buzzard.
Butterfly count:   1 Silver-washed Fritillary, 21 Meadow Brown, 14 Gatekeeper, 1 Ringlet, 5 Comma, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 1 Speckled Wood, 4 Small White, 4 Green-veined White, 3 Small Skipper, 1 Large Skipper, 1 Small Copper, 1 Common Blue (male).
Moths: 1 Blood Vein, 1  Straw Dot, 1 Notocelia trimaculana tortrix micromoth.
Also: 1m Migrant Hawker, 1 Brown Hawker, 1m Black-tailed Skimmer, 1+ Common Darter, 4+ Azure Damselfly.

West End:- 6 Green Sandpiper, 3 Common Sandpiper, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 32 Lapwing, 2 Teal, 16 Mandarin Duck, 71 Mallard+ 1 white duck, 33 Canada Geese, 16 Great Crested Grebe, 6 Moorhen, 8 Little Egret, 16 Grey Heron + 7 juveniles still in heronry, 1 Kingfisher, 15 Common Tern including 7 juvenile, 47 Pied Wagtail – 25 Fallow Deer.

West End:- 1 Red Kite, 1 Buzzard, 4 Moorhen, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Green Sandpiper, 4 Common Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 4 Stock Dove.

West End:- 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Green Sandpiper, 4 Common Sandpiper, 33 Lapwing, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Teal, 22 Mandarin, 70 Mallard + 1 white duck, 6 Moorhen, 41 Pied Wagtail, 4 Little Egret, 11 Greylag Geese, 8 adult Common Tern + 5 fledged juveniles and 3 juveniles still on raft, 203 Black-headed Gull, 5 Magpie, 5 Stock Dove, 2 Collared Dove flyover. Sadly looks like all the Little Ringed Plover chicks have been predated – no sign of adults.

Black Kite flew over the west end at 6:25 and headed upstream. (Presume it’s the Ashdown bird). Then again flying north east along the north bank ridge.
