West End:- 20+ Black-headed Gull; 2 Blackbird; 4+ Blue Tit; Canada Goose; Chaffinch; 2 Coal Tit; 26+ Cormorant; 3 Goldfinch; 3 Great Crested Grebe; Great Spotted Woodpecker; 3+ Great Tit; 95+ Greylag Goose; Hybrid duck; Jay; Magpie; Marsh Tit; Moorhen; 2 Nuthatch; Pheasant; 2 Stock Dove; Woodpigeon.

News from The Ringers
A Blue Tit caught at Weir Wood on 22nd November already rung – was originally ringed at Minsmere in Suffolk as a juvenile on 30th August 2018.  It has travelled 173km in 84 days.  An interesting recovery for a Blue Tit.
On 25th November a Red Kite flew over the study area.

Whillets:- 172 Reed Buntings roosted between 13:45-16:00, 3 Teal, 110 Starlings flew NW, 4 Bullfinch.
West End:- 1 Little Grebe, 3 Common Gulls.
Dam End:- 77 Great Crested Grebes.

Whillet’s:- 4 Yellowhammers, 210 Siskins, 37 Goldfinch, 9 Chaffinch, 2 Bullfinch, 4 Mistle Thrush, 12 Song Thrush, 72 Redwing, 80 Fieldfares, 1 Grey Heron, 16 Blackbirds, 1 Kingfisher, 1f Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard.
West End:- 259 Greylag Geese, 17 Gadwall, 1 Coot, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Common Gulls.

A late afternoon visit to the Dam End for the gull roost produced the following:- 700+ Black-headed Gull, 30+ Common Gull, c50 Herring Gull. More gulls were still coming in when I stopped  due to poor light.  The roost was quite distant and in poor light Common Gull were difficult to confirm so probably a low count.  Also seen were 72 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Kestrel, 2 Grey Heron.

West End:- 1m Pochard, 4 Tufted Duck, 8 Teal, 6m+5f Gadwall, 1 Coot, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Egyptian Geese, 233 Greylag Geese, 62 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Pied Wagtail, 55 Cormorant, 1 Canada Goose, 2 Jay, 1 Kestrel, 20 Goldfinch, 3 Chaffinch, 62 Stock Doves, 40 Fieldfares, 114 Black-headed Gulls, 3 Common Gulls, 2 immature Herring Gulls.
Whillet’s:- 1m+1f Stonechats, 1 Greenfinch, 2 Lesser Redpolls, 1 Mistle Thrush, 2 Grey Herons.

West End (11:00 to 12:00):- Large number of Greylag Geese (est. about 200) with a Canada and a hybrid, 6 Gadwall, 2 Coot, Moorhen, Grey Heron plus regular Great Crested Grebes, Mallard, Cormorants, and Black-headed Gulls. 2 Ravens and a Kestrel flew over.
On feeders : Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Nuthatch, Marsh Tit, Great and Blue Tits.
